Privacy policy

Your privacy matters to me. This policy sets out how I use and protect any information that you provide when you contact me or when we meet in a training or one to one. This policy is effective from May 2018.

Data Processing and Security

I collect the personal information you provide in order to process your requests and bring you services that may be of interest to you.

I value your information as much as I do my own and take every measure to keep this confidential and secure. Your personal information is stored in files on password protected computers. My back-up hard-drive is held in a locked box within my home. Please read the privacy statements of the services I use which are contained in the linked text in this document.

You can rest assured that all communication between your browser and my website is hosted in a secure UK based data centre and the software used is kept up-to-date. When I am currently working with you in a training, group or one to one I communicate with you by email using TalkTalk.

Workshops & Practice Groups

If you sign up for one of these I will send you my details so you can pay me by bank transfer, Pay Pal or cheque. I do not ask for your credit or debit card details.

I will ask you for the personal information necessary to help me contact and support you for the duration of our work together including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number, email address and your NVC (and, if relevant, Conscious Dance) experience. You will receive emails about the training or group from myself or (for workshops) my administrator, Sue Fielding (her email provider is gmail).

One to one NVC and / or Open Floor Movement Practice  sessions

I make a few notes during or after our sessions which help me remember what the highlights were and any actions that were agreed. I send you a summary of these notes via email and store this information in a file on a password protected computer. Your name is not on these notes so you could not be identified. We meet in person or on Skype.

Retention period for personal data

The personal information your provide is retained for a reasonable period or for as long as the law requires or permits.
